With this notice, we want to inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that may identify you, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior. We have taken extensive technical and operational safeguards to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress.

3. Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

3.1  General Rights
You have a right to disclosure, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, objection to processing and data portability. If a data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent for the future.

3.2 Rights – Data processing for the purposes of a legitimate interest
According to Art. 21 Sec. 1 GDPR, you have the right – due to reasons, which arise from your particular situation – to object to the processing of your personal data which is based on Article 6 Sec. 1 lit. e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or on Article 6 Sec. 1 lit. f GDPR (data processing for the purposes of a legitimate interest), at any time. This also applies to a profiling based on this provision. In case you object to the processing, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can provide compelling legitimate grounds for processing the data which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the purpose of enforcing, pursuing or defending legal claims.

3.3 Your Rights – Direct Marketing
If we process your personal data to for direct marketing purposes, you have – according to Art. 21 Sec. 2 GDPR – the right to object to this processing at any time. This also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. In case you object to the processing for the purpose of direct marketing, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the responsible data protection supervisory authority.

4. Collection of personal data when visiting our website
In the case of merely informative use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following information that is technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure its stability and safety. Legal basis is Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. f GDPR:

5. Contact by email or by contact form

Whenever you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form on this website, the information you provide (your e-mail address as well as your name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. If our contact form is used to request information that are not required for contacting us, we have always marked these fields as optional. This information helps us to specify your request and to improve the handling of your query. You provide this information on a voluntary basis and with your consent, Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. a GDPR. If this information contains contact data (e.g. email address, telephone number), you also agree that we may also contact you via this communication channel to answer your request. Of course, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

We delete the data that we collect for these purposes after the storage is no longer required, or limit the processing if statutory retention requirements apply.

6. Application

You can apply for a job at Hauk & Sasko electronically, especially via e-mail or web forms. Of course, we will only use your information to process your application and will not transfer the data to third parties. Please note that unencrypted e-mails are not transmitted with access protection.

If you have applied for a certain position and this position has already been filled or we believe that you would be better suited for another job, we would like to forward your application within the company. Please let us know if you do not agree to this.

Your personal data will be deleted immediately after completing the application process, or after a maximum of 6 months, unless you have explicitly given us your consent for a longer storage of your data or we have concluded an employment contract with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. a, b and f GDPR as well as § 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act).

7. Use of Cookies:

Whenever you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small files that are stored on your hard drive (assigned to your browser) and that serve to transmit certain information to the entity which set the cookie. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website in general more user-friendly and effective.

7.1 Transient Cookies

8. Website Analysis with AWStats

For purposes of analyzing and optimizing our websites, we use AWStats. With this tool, information about your visit to this website, including your IP address, is transmitted to a server and stored there. AWStats will use this information to anonymously evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. This helps us to design and improve our offers in a user-friendly way. The data collected is not intended to personally identify individual users. Only anonymous or pseudonymous data are collected. 9. Google Maps

On this website we use Google Maps. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly in the website and allow you the comfortable use of the map feature.
By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in point 4 of this notice will be transmitted.
This is done regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in to, or if no user account exists. When you’re logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account.
If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and / or tailor-made website design.

10. Data transfer

We will not transfer your data to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the data transfer is necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship or you have previously consented to the disclosure of your data.
External service providers and partner companies will only receive your data if necessary. In these cases the amount of data transmitted is limited to the required minimum. Whenever our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we will conclude data processing agreements according to Art. 28 GDPR with them in order to ensure that they comply with the provisions of data protection law in the same way. Please also note the respective privacy policy of the provider. The respective service provider is responsible for the content of external third-party services, whereas we will check the services for compliance with legal requirements to a reasonable extent.
