The viewer does not need to be installed locally on a computer. It starts automatically in the browser, as soon as UKIS displays a CAD drawing. When the original drawing is not in the DXF format, UKIS automatically converts the drawing to the DXF format. The DXF Viewer can also be used as a standalone application.
If you would like to see a demo version of the DXF viewer, click on the following link (the viewer will open in a new window):
In order to use the DXF viewer, you will need to have the JAVA plugin installed. The DXF viewer applet is signed, so that you can load your own DXF files from your hard disk. This allows you to test the viewer in your work environment with actual files. If you choose not to use you own files, you can simply cancel the security dialogue - all other functionalities of the DXF viewer will still be available.
