E-Mail Package

Much important information and many documents are nowadays exchanged via e-mail within a company and between organizations. The information content of these e-mails often represent an important source of knowledge that UKIS has to manage.

The UKIS e-mail option supports a manual import of e-mails from a mail client and the management of e-mails, including their attachements. In order to ensure compatibility with various mail clients (e.g. Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape Messenger, Kmail etc.) UKIS imports e-mails in the eml format and manages them in an own mail object together with their attachments.
