Many documents that are managed in UKIS systems often contain refernces to norms and standardisation regulation (e.g. ISO 17799, DIN 6779 etc.). The UKIS standardisation interface makes it possible to integrate norms, regulations and standardisation (e.g. DIN norms from the Beuth publishing house).
Any norms mentioned in a document are automtically linked to the corresponding entries in a standardisation database. The user can click on the standard, jump to the page in the database and read the norm. The source of the norms can be commercially available standardisation databases (e.g. by the Beuth publishing house) or texts that are freely available on the Internet.
