UKIS supports the users in their daily communication, coordination and office work.

Teamwork and the coordination of tasks between individual employees are indispensable for an efficient execution of business processes. Therefore, UKIS supports the user in all areas where it is necessary to coordinate the work with documents, information and content:

• It is possible to lock documents for editing and to manage changes in several versions.

• A version viewer for text and CAD contents highlights differences and helps keep track of changes.

• Documents can be kept as drafts or be published for limited periods of time.

• Documents can be subscribed, which means the user receives an automatic notification when the documents are changed or updated.

• It is also possible to manually notify users or groups of new documents or of changes to existing files.

Optional Functions

Beyond these features, the optional functions of the UKIS Professional Edition support the teamwork in your organization even further. For important contents, UKIS allows the user to require other users or groups to acknowledge that they have been notified of new or modified documents - this ensures that everyone involved is up to date. Users may create folders that combine related contents. UKIS supports the exchange of information and documents via e-mail.

The user can create comments, attach comments to documents and can insert comments and corrections into CAD drawings (redlining functionality). It is possible to create discussion folders, which trace all e-mails and comments that are part of a decision-making process.

UKIS supports the user in all areas in which documents and content are shared among employees, departments or external partners. UKIS transforms information so that it can be used in teamwork.
