The UKIS portal offers a central point of entry to all relevant information regardless of the system of origin or the source application. It is possible to personalise the access to documents, knowledge and content for each user individually. The portal page can therefore have many different appearances depending on the user or group of users. The appearance depends on a user’s job description, on the department or the area of a company.

Through the portal, you can jump from the information display  to applications linked to interfaces in UKIS.
For example:

• law and norms data banks

• company directives

• shift books

• sanctions etc.

In the user interface UKIS, the user can display contents from SAP without having installed the application on his computer, without knowing on which server the requested information is stored and how the link from SAP is generated. The UKIS portal possesses the ability to link information from SAP with correspondence or a DIN norm (German Institute for Standardization) and to view these on the UKIS interface.

If necessary, it is possible to give the user a framework to adapt the portal precisely to his/her needs and interests. The UKIS portal provides users with specific information and content in a central entry page.
