UKIS supports the creation of logical views. These logical views associate subjects, themes, processes, responsible persons or other similar related information objects. It is possible to assign a logical view to a folder so that related content can be grouped in a folder together with additional documents or information objects.

Logical views can also be constructed by using the search mechanism. When a user clicks on a subject UKIS executes a search in the background and displays a result page with the relevant contents. The user retrieves information easily and independently of the physical storage location of the documents. This allows the user to create highly dynamic logical views in UKIS.
