On the last VGB Conference POWER PLANTS 2011 HAUK & SASKO released the new web-based Operation Log BTB. As a plant operator, your interests lie in optimizing work processes and using saving potential effectively. This can be achieved by keeping a database-supported, web-based operating log. Relevant data and malfunctions are documented, recorded and transparently shown so that preventable causes are identified and can be excluded.
As part of the expansion of the Dutch power plant Maasvlakte, E. ON Benelux b.v. is implementing the application software Stockyard Management from the Stuttgart based software developing company HAUK & SASKO. It has been decided to equip the coal feeding facilities at the existing power plant as well as the new boiler with the MBS Stockyard Management System from HAUK & SASKO Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH. The Stockyard equipment will be supplied by FAM Magdeburger Förderanlagen und Baumaschinen GmbH. HAUK & SASKO’s scope of services covers stockpile visualization, stockpile simulation, equipment planning and reporting.
HAUK & SASKO is registered as a pre-qualified supplier in Connexio. Connexio is an online supplier information system which is operated by Achilles Information GmbH on behalf of utilities (energy and water) in Western, Eastern and Central Europe. Connexio is used e.g. by EnBW, Vattenfall, RWE.
The Stuttgart-based software specialist HAUK & SASKO has joined the SAP Partner Edge programm of SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG as a software solution partner. Both companies specialize in enterprise software and have a complementary range of services. Nearly all customers of HAUK & SASKO are also SAP users and use the products in the immediate environment of their SAP software. Within the partnership HAUK & SASKO receives technical assistance in the integration of the software and is now offering certified interfaces to SAP solutions. In the first quarter of 2011 HAUK & SASKO is going to introduce a series of new products that complement SAP applications. This includes the latest version of the document management solution UKIS and the new logistics module of the material flow management system MBS.
MBS supports the disposal of hazardous as well as non-hazardous waste. As far as hazardous waste and substances are concerned, MBS supports compliance with applicable legislation and manages the complete disposal procedure. This includes producing all consignment notes and similar paperwork as required by the law. In this software module, MBS not only supports logistics, inventory management and accounting, but also provides an interface to weighbridge systems of different manufacturers. The module also supports e-government procedures by facilitating an online exchange of information with the regulating authorities.
